Gordon Training International (GTI) headquartered in Solana Beach, California, is a world-renowned human relations training organization. GTI was founded in 1962 by Dr. Thomas Gordon, a three-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee, who is best-known for his Parent Effectiveness Training (P.E.T.) and Leader Effectiveness Training (L.E.T.) programs. We offer training, products and services for leaders, parents and teachers around the world (in over 50 countries) to help improve all their relationships using the Gordon Model.
About the President of Gordon Training International
Linda Adams is the President and CEO of Gordon Training International (GTI). Ms. Adams is the author of Be Your Best and Effectiveness Training for Women, books that teach the essential skills for developing personal responsibility and building partnership-relationships. The Be Your Best book (revised in 2021) has been translated into over 20 languages. She developed Be Your Best, a revised and updated version of Effectiveness Training for Personal and Professional Development/Effectiveness Training for Women. She has continuously worked on revisions for all of GTI’s programs with her team at Gordon Training.
She has been an invited speaker throughout Europe and in Australia, China, Japan, Madagascar, Poland, South Africa, South Korea and Taiwan. Ms. Adams holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology from California State University at Los Angeles. She was the wife and partner of Dr. Thomas Gordon for 35 years. She has a daughter, Michelle Adams, who is the Vice-President of Gordon Training International. Linda’s personal mission is to make the Gordon Model available in as many countries, cultures and languages as possible.
