Leadership Training: There’s Nothing More Obvious Than a Solution to Someone Else’s Problem (Video Blog)

“There’s Nothing More Obvious Than a Solution to Someone Else’s Problem”. This was a line from a play that L.E.T. Master Trainer Bill Stinnett, Ph.D. has never forgotten. He explains that this line brings up a challenging subject in leadership training – how NOT to give advice. It seems almost counterintuitive for a leader to restrain on giving solutions and advice to a team member. Some might feel that it’s the leader’s job to help others by telling them what to do give them solutions. However, as Bill explains, telling another how to solve their problem can lead to additional conflicts.
